Stuck out to me that both of those games at @Burg and @Waverly so I wonder if both schools put their foot down and made them play them at home

Interesting. You would be one to have the correct one I'd think

Maybe. I really don’t know tbh. My son will be a freshman player so I would think so.

That could be correct and in terms of ppl questioning about Manchester don't forget odd number of teams so each team is going to have to find a non-conference opponent late in the season. Waverly had to find a week 10 opponent. Interesting on the VC game because looks like they replaced Warren with NW in this scenario no idea why PW and Minford would let them just walk unless they wanted the money more. Because now they're left to find 2 non-conference opponents late in the year.Seopnation wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 11:38 amArbiter has this-

Burg is in the process of working out the details with fort Frye to fill the nw spot and nw should not worry about Minford Minford is just another speed bump like valley Portsmouth and Ironton will never join soc to many problems Ironton cheating and Portsmouth to many internal issues with disciplinetransplant wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2023 11:56 am So dropped Minford and West, but kept Wheelersburg and Waverly?

I think VC and Warren couldn’t happen in the future with the warriors joining the tsl.

West is 52-3 all time against Northwest with a .945 win percentage. That’s got to be close to a record for teams that have played for over half a century.

WOW.......saw this one coming. Wouldn't expect anything else...You are honestly hurting the kids more by doing this, and will eventually lose more to transfers due to this. If you do transfer plenty of schools will welcome you in. What is there to gain from all this? besides squandering peoples $$ whether tax, donated or fundraised. One of the biggest schools in the county refusing some of their contracts, but some of the smaller schools play up, and continue to play up when they are down. What's next? Safe zones for the coaches on the sidelines.......

Re: Northwest possibly destroying their own program??
Honestly you're right, NW seemed to have zero problem playing DVII schools that were fielding teams with 18-23 players on it assuming they were healthy. Now they're asked to move up, which this was no surprise as it was stated at the time they moved down once established they would move back up, and they're going against schools their size or smaller and for some reason they want to run from it. I simply don't get it they've got the number of players, they have athletes it's not like a school that size isn't going to have athletes the blame falls purely on those running the place. At some point you have to realize if we have this and we have that than the only difference is coaching at that point. So here it is Lucasville Valley and Oak Hill they want to keep on the schedule, then to fill a void what do they do they go and find a DVII Manchester team. I mean for crying out loud just go independent and make your own cupcake schedule up, obviously that's what the guys running things over in NW are wanting. Waste of good money to build those facilities for 50 ppl to show up on friday nights. Now if Valley mops the floor with them does that mean Valley goes on the no play list??ValleyStrong wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 10:57 pm WOW.......saw this one coming.
