I was thinking about fuel cost and travel and then I thought about revenue sharing. I'll use the TVC as my example. What if each school in the TVC pooled 10% of the gate money from each game all sports included and it went into an acount that would then be distributed evenly among all schools in the league. First don't use any of the money for the first 2 or 3 years. Don't distribute all of the money always keep a little back for the next year. This would also include playoff games to. It might sound corny but I think it could help.

The problem I see with this would be splitting a percentage. Some schools would bring in more so they would have to put in more. Now if it were a flat fee your scenario would work. Would the money go towards hiring a TVC Commissioner?

The idea would be to help the smaller schools with travel. evan if they put in less they would get the same. In other words the big schools would be helping the smaller schools more,
hiring a comish would be a good thing to. He could run the day to day stuff and be in charge of hiring refs so the schools wouldn't have to do it.
