walking vest

Post by mstangmom »

So I watched Operah today and Valeri Bertanelli was on there and talked about her weight loss. she was talking about this walking vest. what she said about it helping with her weight loss made since. it tricks your body into thinking you are heavier than what you are thus causing you to burn more calories when you are walking.

Has anyone ever tried one of these before?

I looked them up they are over $200.00 but I am sure E-bay would have them cheaper.

I actually got to thinking that a person could buy a hunting vest and some weights from wal-mart. and do the same thing for a lot cheaper.

I saw one of these at walmart the other day. it cost alot less that 200 bucks. I just use ankle weights, but a hunting vest w/ weights would do the same.

Better yet...how about turning your weight loss efforts into a money making venture?! Have our resident contractors, biggdowgg and Ozzieohio make you a snappy (but very heavy) sandwich board where you could:

sell ad space like this lady!

or you could do Penance

make a life style statement

make a political statement

troll the job market

run a dating service!

or..my personal favorite ;-)

you could branch out too! like Curves or Jenny Craig, you could start selling weight reduction plans..where you cleverly put other women out on street corners wearing your sandwich boards with ad space rented out! you could make a killing as not only would you be taking in membership fees but you'd realize a double profit gain by the ad revenue that would come flowing in your way!

If I lived in or near the city I would probably consider that, It actually does not sound like a bad Idea. I may be worth the drive to the city to pull that off let me think about it more.
