Last years contest was won by Warren in overtime, who thinks what?

I also believe Athens will win this game. Could this be the year the Bulldogs make the playoffs under coach Adams?

Playoffs? Whoa there, slow your roll. While Athens has two good wins under their belt, there is a whole lot of football to be played before we start throwing around the "P" word. I'll go with the old addage "take em' one game atta time". We'll know a little more about how good or not we are after a game against a very good Warren team.

Big Dog, well said my friend. one game at a time. Both teams are 2-0, but how good were each teams first two opponents? Hope for both schools that the teams they have beaten so far go on to have solid seasons. This should be a good game, Warren has to account for a runing back that is a solid preformer. Athens has to come up with a way to figure out Warrens passing attack. Hurry up friday.

Believe me, I know it's way too early. I forgot to mention that the Bulldogs are now in Division 3, so that was the cause for my playoffs theory.

Athens by 2 TD's? I'll take Warren again, just like last year. Athens will have absolutely no answer for Leffingwell and his many targets and Warren defense will be able to hold enough.

Predictions/thoughts on games that have been played so far this year were mostly predicated on past years performances. After week two we are starting to get more of an idea about this year's teams. I think this game will tell a lot about the rest of the season for a lot of SE Ohio teams. I would hate to bet the ranch on this game, but if I had to bet would choose Athens as the winner.

I'll take Athens in a close one. They will run the table IMO if they can get by this game but would 10-0 with this schedule even get them into the playoffs. I'm no math wizard with the harbin scoring system but I'm sure someone on here can answer that question should it arise at the end of the year. (hypothetically of course).

It is too early for the "p" word, but Athens is a really good team. Coal Grove was supposed to be their conference champion and make the playoffs in D5. Gallia beat a pretty good licking heights team on the road also. IDK if Licking Heights is a playoff team, but we all know how central ohio thinks of us at times, so I would say Athens is pretty good. This may be their last test before Alexander week 8 and NY week 10.

Warren has the Bulldog's number. I was at that game last year where Athen's defense could not stop Warren when they needed to. I see the same this year. Warren in a close one.

I don't think Chillicothe is going to be a pushover by any stretch either.

The Athens pass defense hasn't been tested like it will be on friday night. I think the Athens defense as a whole is pretty solid but we'll see. Warren seems to have a solid team as well, should be fun to watch.

If it is as entertaining as last years game it will be a classic.

Let's hope so! I will say the same thing that I've said both of the first two weeks, I'm hoping for a clean, hard hitting, injury free game and with the football gods willing a Bulldog win.

If Warren has answer for Athens linebacker they win.
If not, QB had better be able to throw on the run.
