Re: Scioto Valley Conference 09
Not a real expert on this conference, but I'll take a guess:
1. Westfall
2. Paint Valley
3. Piketon
4. Adena
5. Zane Trace
6. Southeastern
7. Huntington
8. Unioto
I know Westfall Cain (among others), but they are Westfall they have been dominant it the Svc. From what I know Zane Trace lost a big senior class, so they will probably be down. The bottom 3 and the number 1 spot are more than likely locks, but 2-5 in my mind is a toss up

Re: Scioto Valley Conference 09
1. Piketon- Senior and Junior Class is loaded
2. Paint Valley- Big Offensive line, very good skill kids, Workman hard to replace
3. Zane Trace- See Piketon
4. Westfall- Lose alot, but still have some talented kids
5. Southeastern- Up and coming team just a year away
6. Adena- No Barnes , Will be very young but watch out in two years
7. Unioto- finally get off the schnide
8. Huntington- No coach yet. They could move up a couple of spots if they hire the right coach.

Re: Scioto Valley Conference 09
Westfall will be very good again, Piketon has the talent, but they do every year and still don't perform. Should come down to Paint Valley and Westfall, yet I think that It will be hard for Paint Valley to replace 4 year starters and all-ohio players at QB, RB, FB, and OL.

Re: Scioto Valley Conference 09
Paint Valley lost one JV game and that was a,7-6 defeat to Zane Trace.
Will Ben Krech be the starting QB next season? He will be a senior.
Jacob Bell and Wes Parker will be Sr's. Both are RB's. Will either of them start?

Re: Scioto Valley Conference 09
Wes Parker got quite a bit of carries this year even with Mcfadden and Morris and had somewhere around 400 yards rushing, He will probably carry the load at running back. Krech played tight end this year and seemed like a really good blocking tight end, so he may stay there. It will either be him, or Jr. Brennan Dove at QB. It is possible that maybe Garret Tyree will play some like last year as a Pat White-ish Quarterback.

HHS middle of the pack with the toughness returning..... bengalfan76 @ the bottom regardless.....
Re: Scioto Valley Conference 09
Westfall until someone knocks them out of the spot.
They will have some very good players again next year. some of who you met this last season. and I am trying to remember, I believe next year folks will meet the newest Cline boy. I believe he will be a Frosh and I believe he like both his brothers before him will be a starter at that age. I think Near should go back to the QB slot, he was the back up 2 years ago and was awesome at it.

HHS should be a dark horse, they are returning a lot of people and they have some talent coming up.

Re: Scioto Valley Conference 09
huntington must be getting them from all over...
not real sure what the jv final record for huntington was, but se, pv, and zt beat them.. not sure about the others

Re: Scioto Valley Conference 09
I won't put to much stock in JV records they don't always translate in to varsity wins or losses...........................
Re: Scioto Valley Conference 09
I heard a rumor that Southeastern may be looking for a new coach, any validity to that?

yeah 3 step drop... i hope huntington does get that kid from southeastern they are also getting a junior wide out from piketon.... along with the huntsmen freshmen coming up they have a really good rb and fb so huntington will probaly take 4th in the svc next year if they get a new coach

Re: Scioto Valley Conference 09
ok im not saying much right now we know the talent lays in piketon like always (pee wee, jr high, and jv records dont matter) so this is my pre picks
1.westfall(has the league till its taken and have the best program)
2.piketon(talent as always gotta get it done though)
3.p.v(bringing most back)
4.zane trace(lost there linebackers)
5.adena(still got some players)
6.unito(ready this yr im thinking)
7.southeastern(know how to win)
8.hhs(not really anyone or choach's so till they get a coach i dont see them doing much)
