Does anyone fox hunt on here?

I just started a coyote hunting topic and I know its fox season now and was wondering if anyone else has been out this year to hunt them. I have only been out once so far this year and have called in one in all 3 spots that I called from witch the were all grey fox and I called them in with a grey fox pup in distress tape.

We have killed right at 15 or 16 this year and have only been out 5 times. Should have had more than that but had a few misses. At the begging of the year know one was wanting to buy fox hides but I have made a few calls in the last few days and they are starting to go back up a little bit. Sorry Iam talking about Grey Fox I dont know about Reds.

yeah thats all I really hunt is grey fox. I will shoot the red fox when they come out and give me a shot but I know the grey fox or prettier and are worth more money so I would really rather shoot them haha! I havnt sold any this year yet and I only have one grey right now anyways but last year I sold 2 grey fox and got $20 out of one and $25 out of the other. The guy at vinton fur where I sold it said that i got more out of the one was because it was a darker grey then the other one and that makes it worth more!

What are the prices that you have been getting or been told that they are?

Talked to the guy from vinton and he is giving 15 to 18 for them. Jenkins at pedro is giving 10. Last year I sold mine for 30 straight out.

Does anyone know of any place that pays better for grey, red fox and coyote?

Thats the only one that is around where I live that is close enough to go to that i know of to make money after taking away gas money.
