Very solid group that could all swing the bat very well in every spot in the batting order. I am pretty sure on the TV broadcast they said that Burg had scored 7+ runs in 24 of their games.....tough to lose when you can light up the scoreboard like that. Extremely good pitching all year was also a huge factor.

Yes they do, but according the broadcast, South Range only had one senior so almost that entire team is back. It still takes a lot of luck and good fortune to make it back to the Final 4 but these two could possibly meet up again next season.
Congrats to the Lady Pirates on the first Softball State Championship in school history.
