So, Let's go ahead a list the reasons.

1. The TANK!

boogerred, how about picking another particular program in Southern Ohio and them compare the two? You could compare..win %, playoff appearances, regional titles, final fours, state championship appearances and state championships. Ironton, in 2008, made their 26th playoff appearance! Only two other schools in the entire state have more!



(oh...and a personal note, I think that Ironton's program, has always shown class when they walked out on the field too. Now, that's not something you can measure..or put into stats but I believe that the program has always shown class since the playoff system began)

I wouldn't say we are the best team ever but we havn't done all that bad.

I'm assuming this thread was started tongue-in-cheek, so I just interjected some others who have as much, if not more football tradition on the state level than Ironton.

If I was to add to the inital post that listed The Tank, I would add Tiger Alley.

I agree, there's alot of great teams in Ohio, this thread was started by "boogerred"
