Athens Football Team looks good this year. Coach Adams has maked some changes for the good this year. Keep up the good work boys.

I'm tickled to death to see Coach Adams getting that program back to respectability. I know he has some good guys on staff (I know Wayne Horsley is working with him) and I'm sure the community is very excited. Good luck to the Bulldogs the rest of the season!

Always enjoyed watching Wayne Horsley coach the Jackson teams of the 1990s. Great football coach and I'm sure his efforts are certainly helping the Bulldog program.

Athens is off to a great start, with winnable games coming up vs Meigs and VC. A big home game with Alexander looms but they could be 6-1 or 7-0 headed into the NY game...Been a while since the Dogs have had some bite behind the bark.......

D-II team in an essentially D-IV league. There is nothing special about this and it will be proven at the end of the year when they are 9-1 or 10-0 and don't even sniff the playoffs.
