1-9 sounds about right (they'll beat RV by three scores). I would give them the win over Peake, too, but I made a prediction long before the season started that Peake would beat them this year.

The valley game will be tuff, but in the OVC, I've seen crazier things.............Don't be surprised when S.P. shares the OVC title with someone this year............And it may not be with who you think...........GO POINTERS!!!!!!!!................ :12224

Nah, I'll give 'em at least 20 points against RV. Things are bad up there - REALLY BAD.
I wish I could be there for the Chesapeake game, though!

Valley by a bunch in this one.

As for South Point vs the OVC: I agree that they should be more than fine with River Valley and Rock Hill and that the Chesapeake game should be for third place in the league. Of course, it seems like every year in the OVC there's at least one game where a team thought to be a heavy favorite has a major let down and loses to a team not as talented, so it will be interesting to see if that happens this year or not.

I see South Point going 1-9 with their only win coming against River Valley. Possibly 2-8 with a win over the Peake is the only other possibility to me. Other than that they don't stand a chance at winning the OVC this year. I see them getting beat by Rock Hill also, because South Point's secondary is small. They look to average about 5ft 7-5ft 10 and weighing between 150-160 pounds if that. I see Davenport having a big game that night.

abucks 76, talking about the offense. Yeah last year they moved it up and down the field because of Seagraves. I think last year and the year that they had Weed and Woody and that senior class would have been the best year for this offense to have worked the best. You had Seagraves at 5ft 10 about 200 and Woody who was the starter at 5ft 11 and 185. Which would have been the best backfield in the OVC that year if Woody don't get hurt against Johson Central. You have a two really good sizeds backs, Woody with the speed and the make people miss ability, and Seagraves with the speed and straight power running, gain a bunch of yards after contact. Woody don't get hurt 1st game that year and I say South Point had really good chance of going 6-4 or 7-3 cause its hard to replace what he brought. This year you don't have that, and thats why the coaches need put in stuff that fits with this team. Good coaches would see that. What worked two years ago and last year wont this year cause you don't have the players you on this team in those years.
