Week #7 - SEOAL PICK'EM's

Post by hardrock21 »

Week #7 brings a full slate of SEOAL contests. Jackson, Logan, and Warren remain with unblemished records at 6-0. Ironton and Portsmouth are sitting pretty @ 4-2 with the playoffs well within reach. Ironton flexed their muscles against Chillicothe. Ironton will make a deep run in the playoffs. Chillicothe might not win another game this year, what a turn around from last fall. Portsmouth brought home a win on 3 special teams scores against a Gallia team still searching for a win. Jackson battled with a Marietta team getting healthier every week. Warren needed 2 O.T. to get past Meigs in a thriller in Pomeroy. Warren won the game on a blocked kicked, don't get anymore suspensful than that. Logan steam-rolled a good Zanesville team. Showing why they are among the top teams in the state regardless of division. We have some excellent matchups this week, please make your week #7 picks.

Jackson 6-0
Logan 6-0
Warren 6-0

As Lee Corso would say, "Not so fast my friend." We are more beat up now than ever. We were healthier last week than the week before or the week before that. We are by no means getting healthier, rather it is getting worse every week.

Ryan Offenberger Week 1
Josh Benson - Week 1
Tanner Leach - Week 2
Ben Bricker - Week 2
Connor Hess Week 3
Cole Hupp - Week 3
Cameron Bronski - Week 4
Adam Baker - Week 5
Billy Moore - Week 5
Austin Gaskins - Week 5
Billy Grizer - Week 6

All out of the season (week lost in parenthesis) and had significant varisty responsibilities at the beginning of the season. Several more JV and Freshman out for the year, 17 in all to be exact.

schenk,

Sorry to see so many injuries for the Tigers. I would have liked to have seen what they could have done this season without being bitten by the injury bug so many times. Good luck the rest of the way.
