Burg better play a better first half than they did last night or The Trojans may prevail. From what I have seen put allot of pressure on Bendolf, he is there best ball player.

i agree i would not try digging out of a 17 point deficit very often. need a better first half. if they start well they are hard to beat.

I see the Burg winning this by 15+ and hopefully the kids don't treat Bendolph bad and this is a good sportsmanship game and they just play some good basketball.

If you expect to be treated with respect, you dont trash the kids that used to be your teamates when you see them at the movies..

What constitutes "living" in a particular area?

Is it the address in which they use to register in a particular District? If that is the case, what percentage of time must a student actually have to live at the address? What happens if a student/athlete is caught living in one District and commuting to another District for educational/athletic purposes? What are the penalties? What type of proof is required?

From what I hear he does, and is following the guidelines of OHSAA to the letter, that does not mean that he can not enter the city of Portsmouth,or go to a theatre like every other kid does,or talk a little trash amongst friends. This no doubt will probably be an emotional game for all involved.

Is Barrick having a problem coaching Defense for this team? He lost 3 big time players and a 4th to injury. Are the remaining kids not buying into his defensive system? They mostly played for him last year. They know the ways. Not executing very well. This team is missing Whitley, kemper and Shank, and maybe the play of Craigmiles, and it shows. Lang and Bendolph are in their 1st year at Burg. Lang being injured last yr and Bendolph being a newbe. I wonder what this team could have been with the afore mentioned players on the team. Shank is a given, hard to the paint, good dishes or 2 points to the basket. Kempers D will be missed all season and his sneaky rebounds. Whitely was a good athelete that could play point, shoot the ball and play decent D. All experience down the drain. Craig could hit some 3s and get a bound or two when we needed it. I dont know what this team is. I listened to the game Friday and still dont have an idea. A win is a win. This game will be the same. Maybe they will get an identity before too long. Good luck Burg!! And good luck to the TEAM that is playing. GET EM!!

I don't believe Portsmouth stays in this game very long. I could be wrong. Im taking Burg by around 15-20 points.
