Derek Arnold at the next level.
I finally got some word from his girlfriend. Otterbein is very interested in him. So it will probably be there. If I hear of anything new I will post it as soon as i get it.

Cool! I hope it works out for him. He is a great young man and will make a fine college football player.

That would be super.
I'll keep an eye out on his success....would love to see him as a Bobcat walkon....but a scholly at Otterbein would be great.

Otterbein, being D-III, does not give athletic scholarships. Playing at the next level is a great feat, nonetheless.

Derek would be an excellent fit at D3.
Otterbein has a wonderful academic reputation and it is far enough away that you get the actual "college experience" but close enough that you can run home if you get too "homesick".
I really hope that this happens for Derek. I don't think he would ever regret giving it-a-go at the college level.

Nelsonville-York my fellow Panther.
If Otterbein doesn't give schollies then I'll take the selfish route and would like to see him walk-on at OU....Lord knows we need some RB's.

You throw 4,000 post on the BA board about recuriting, you put list together and evaluate kids from news articles and you do not even know that Otterbein is DIII and non-scholarship? Proof in point that internet access to some is dangerous!
On Derek, Otterbein has built a solid program, is a great school, and he will have a good opportunity.
