The Eagles, Mcnabb, Westbrook release

Post by therayn3man »

The Eagles released RB Brian Wesbrook (the teams all time leader in yards from scrimmage). I know its a move that a lot of people expected.

Does this move indicate some kind of commitment to Donovan McNabb?

I would think that it would be hard to justify letting both go. Philly might riot.

ANY THOUGHTS?

Westbrook will probably retire...concussion issues. Now, Tomlinson is another story. He wants to play and I could see him going to a program like New England, where he might play a slightly diminished but significant role and contend for a championship.
