9u Thunder Girls win Southeast Challenge in Tennessee

West Virginia Thunder 9u girls compiled a 5-0 record en route to winning the Southeast Challenge this past weekend in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The girls defeated the Georgia Explosion 38-22, Tennessee Trotters 46-26, and Tennessee Team Pride (Cliff)44-31 in pool play. Sunday began with a semifinal victory vs the Tennessee Team Pride 38-26 and concluded with a hard fought victory against the Georgia Pistols 32-23. Thunder girls will be in Cincinnati, OH for GBA Nationals June 17-20 and then begin preparation for AAU Nationals.

Yes, and she was also on last year's team that won the GBA nationals as 8's and part of the merged Team Ohio and Thunder group that took 2nd at AAU Nationals in Orlando, Fl. Very intelligent and athletic kid. Plays a multitude of postitions.
