Re: Symmes Valley vs. Rock Hill
Yeah at first I think it was set for Friday but then changed to sat. I look for a good aggressive game!! This is a match I'd love to see in reg. Season
Re: Symmes Valley vs. Rock Hill
I realize that SV would like to have the gate from the game tonight, but I'm betting they wish they were playing at RH on the carpet with this rain. Hopefully, there has not been enough rain to tear their field up.

OVCfan, I am with you on the field prospect at SV tonight. I hope the field isn't torn up too bad. The gate happens to be pretty important tonight though... I was told 100% will go to charity.

Re: Symmes Valley vs. Rock Hill
Symmes valley looks to be better this year. line moves alot better and efficiently. They came to play tonight. Rock hill had no fire in them the first half. score was 21 to 7 at half i believe? i headed out after first half. correct me if im wrong
Re: Symmes Valley vs. Rock Hill
The first teams came back in in the 3rd and Symmes Valley added another TD to make it 28-7. It started to rain really hard during the 3rd and I got outta there. Rock Hill couldn't move the ball on the ground and couldn't stop SV's running attack.

Re: Symmes Valley vs. Rock Hill
I thought Symmes Valley looked better than they did last year. They have a stable of backs that are all dependable and seem like they were good for at least 4 yards everytime they touched the ball. Their backs were always falling forward. They didn't turn the ball over and could throw the ball effectively when they needed to.
I thought Rock Hill's offense looked OK. They had a couple of nice drives in the first half, one ended with a beautiful McCollister pass to the corner of the endzone to Wilds. Harper ran the ball well between the tackles, and the passing blocking up front wasn't bad. The Defense has some work to do, but it's early and hopefully they'll get things ironed out.

Once again, it's looking like RH won't be able to run the football consistently....
