Long ride to Sciotoville, and the Iggles are dinged up. I'm going with the home team, by 10 points.

Man, that's a long haul from looking at Google Maps.

You could take Rt 248 to Rt 7, then take Rt 7 to Rt 35, take Rt 35 west to Rt 279, take Rt 279 to Rt 93, take Rt 93 south to Rt 140 (just south of Oak Hill) and Rt 140 all the way to Rt 52. The take Rt 52 west to the Sciotoville exit and go straight up Rt 335 to the stadium.

You could also take Rt 681 west all the way to Rt 50 at Albany and the take Rt 50/32 all the way to Rt 93 at Jackson and take Rt 93 south to Rt 140 and the take that to Rt 52 west to the Sciotoville exit and follow directions above after that.

Either way is a long haul and maybe someone who travels that way more would know a better route but that's what I see from Google Maps.

Shazbot,

I don't know exactly where you will be coming from, but I would tell you to take route 7 all the way to 50/32 west. Then take 50/32 west all the way past jackson into pike county. After you drive into pike county a few miles, there will be a flash lights and the left/right turns will junction onto 335. Turn left onto 335 and that will take you all the way into sciotoville and to east's stadium.

This should be the best route because 50/32 is 60 except for the stretch bypassing through athens. Also, there is one lane shut down for construction between wellston and jackson and extends for about ten or twelve miles. Speed limit is 50 and the highway isn't very congested. 335 is a curvy mess but it would be your only two lane highway to travel with the exception of the construction zones.

Hope this helps you and that you have a safe trip.

Thanks. It does help.
Would Jackson be the place to find a bite to eat?

I don't think I would take Rt 32 all the way over to Rt 335 in Pike county. It would be quicker and a much better road if you took Rt 139 (turn left off of Rt 32) just past Jackson on Rt 32 and then take it all the way to Minford and turn left at the 4 way Stoplight, which is Rt 335, and then take it all the way to Sciotoville.

Taking Rt 32 all the way to Rt 335 would probably add another 25 miles or so onto an already very long trip.

Yes, Jackson has a bunch of nice places to eat.

Yeah, you're right. It would be better for you to take SR 139 to minford and then turn onto 335. It would save you some miles as opposed to turning onto 335 in pike county.

If you turn onto the route 93 exit in jackson, that is the main drag of jackson. Turn left and you've got taco bell, sonic, and arby's. Turn right and you got pizza hut, burger king, mcdonalds, wendys, and long john silvers. Jackson is your best stop for food before or after the game.

I saw both play and i am picking Eastern by 2 tds. Besides i always pull for a conference school vs. Non-conference team. Ok i may still be bitter over SOC turning us down for membership 2 times. Go TVC!

If East wins out (3 games) they will probably get the 8th seed. Even now, we're 9th in the region. Go figure!

27-7 Reedsville Eastern

Thanks for the directions. We traveled down 139, took the left at Minford and ran right to the field. Couldn't have been easier.
