Tri-Valley Conference Baseball

Post by 93Bulldog »

Ive been updating the trivalleyconference.com web site ... I think I have most of the schedules in place ... Perhaps look them over (on each team page) to see if your school/team schedule is correct.

You can P.M. me if there are any corrections

or

e-mail them to me at [email protected]

Wahama White Falcons are already (3-0) and have outscored their opponents 45-1 ...

Will be Wahama be a contender in the Hocking - or is their record a product of their competition? I have no idea how good Wirt County or Hannan is ... Anyone have a clue on the teams across the river in West Virginia?

is that all the games n.y. has or do they have more scheduled? i have seen that most teams have 26 or 27 games and they only have 16.

Wahama should be solid as usual.. certainly a contender at least in the hocking. They beat Buffalo tonight 14-3.

thx CT_207 ... Any scores from Wahama throughout the season would be appreciated.

yellowjacket ... I thought the same thing - but that's all the Bucks have listed at this point ... I know last year they played less games than everyone else as well. Perhaps the end of basketball season in Nelsonville-York - means - the beginning of football season.

Wahama has been good in baseball for as long as I can remember (back to the late 60's). IMO they'll have a good chance of winning the hocking or at least placing in the top 3 most years I think.

Cool ... thx FANOSPORTS ...

It will be nice to see another quality baseball program added to the TVC ... I know the Hocking produced some pretty good teams last year ... Trimble made it pretty far last year in the tournament, Southern and Fed Hock both played in the regionals and heck, Eastern was the overall league champion ... I'm not sure how those teams will stack up this season - they all lost some key components though.

I believe Meigs got off to a great start in the season opener with a 7-5 win. Way to go Marauders

That Meigs (7-5) win was over Warren, correct?

That is a darn good start - the Warriors are usually very good in baseball.

About Trimble: They should be a pretty good team this year - Chesser is one of the better baseball players you will see in 2011 (In either the Ohio or Hocking Divisions.)

BTW ... All games, results, standings & team pages have been updated after Monday's games!

Wow what happened to Athens at Waverly last night? Is Waverly that good? Hopefully they bounce back.

greatone ... I'm not sure what happened to Athens Monday - I'm guessing Waverly is pretty good.

Tuesday March 29th:

I know its early - but the TVC-Hocking Division gets under way this afternoon.

Federal Hocking vs Southern
Trimble vs Belpre
Eastern vs South Gallia
Wahama vs Miller

(Non league games)

Alexander vs Jackson
Vinton County vs Adena
Waterford vs Frontier

Meigs crushed the ball the first 2 innings. After that they were fairly silent. Meigs pitched their ace all 7 innings (why would you do that with temps in the low 40s of a meaningless game?) Warren's ace only pitched the 7th. Meigs played a very solid game and should have a good season.

Looks like Nelsonville-York is off to a slow start already without even playing a single game yet. That's too bad. I'm looking for Meigs to be the top team in the Ohio and Trimble to be duking it out with Wahama in the Hocking. Should be an interesting year.
