Fort Frye coach Dan Leidtke resigns as Boys Coach.

I hear he told the boys this evening.Fort Frye returns Shon Smith (15ppg)and Zack Eddy (12 ppg).

I can't even begin to understand how he coached TWO varsity teams for two seasons, and he did both at a high level. He won the PVC in both boy's and girl's this year. Great coach. Those will be tough shoes to fill.

wow ..... i feel for they boys there at fort frye , leidtke was one hell of a coach and will be hard to replace . some one should tell them they can come up here and take schweiterman off our hands ! lol

Hm. Interesting to see how FF performs after his departure. Is he still going to be coaching the girls and any word on who his successor will be?

fort frye will be ok . the still have plenty of talent and defense will still be their staple . as long as they dont get a schweiterman , they will be sucessful.

I'm sure FF will still produce plenty of talent, but the one thing that Liedtke always did was get the most out of that talent. Can the new coach continue to do that? Liedtke was a huge factor in the Fort's recent success.

Yea he will still coach girls and run the basketball camps which is when the development starts.I hope they bring in someone that runs the open post.With Schwendeman,Shon Smith,and Zach Eddy returning and the JV that was 17-2 they should be a league favorite.

Dan should of taken the Parkersburg Big Reds job a few years ago, they really could have used him.
