wow, seems weird seeing chesapeake in d4 now. i think ironton missed d5 , by 2 boys.

This new alignment could lead to some interesting playoff games.....ACC vs. Ironton, Minford vs. St.Clairesville....

Re: New D4 Reg 15 Teams with last years records
I think that there will still be the same favorable teams in the region after the changes. Ironton, ACC, St Clairsville, Heath, Coshocton and Johnstown Monroe are very consistent and make the playoffs nearly every year. I am not sure what each team lost from last season, but they all seem to reload every year.
Minford, Fairland, Meigs and the rest of the schools in D4 will have to win alot of games to get in since they are playing mostly D4 or D5 schools. They wont get much love for not playing D3 and D2 schools like some of the others in the region.
Should be an exciting region to follow this year as a Minford fan since I am not familiar with most of the schools.
I follow Ironton and I know that JM has a solid program after seeing Minford play them in the playoffs a few years ago. Will be interesting to see how it unfolds.
I cant wait till kickoff!

Lookin for the Johnnies to get back to the playoffs! Some great teams in this region, just hope the best 8 make it in and make it competitive.

Do not for one minute forget St. Clairsville. That program will continue to be one of the best in the Buckeye 8 Conference and the Red Devils have a lot of great talent back. Wouldn't mind seeing Ironton come to the Belmont County seat in Week 11. Always nice to see Ironton play because those kids just play tough.

Just out of curiosity, who was promoted/demoted?
30 teams fighting for 8 spots seems significantly larger than when I went to high school, just 6 short years ago.
