I like this kids game, always plays down hill. However how is Portsmouth constantly turning out DI players and yet be so bad?

That's pretty sweet. Stay focused and make good choices! Man...if you can start for 2 or so years at Michigan St.....you can have a good shot at playing on Sunays.

The Spartan staff got some good news this week when Trevon Pendleton of Ohio decided that he would accept a preferred walk-on opportunity at Michigan State. SpartanMag.com

Redman, you wouldn't know anything about my sign pal...and, you sure wouldn't know anything about signing a letter of intent...maybe for the California penal league, Vaughn.

Although I do wish the young man the best; it looks like to me, as of right now, all he has is a tryout with Michigan State.

What do you think a preferred walk-on is?? It's a tryout!!
It's a player who is promised a roster spot, ''meaning there is a spot'' but not guaranteed a spot on the team, he must earn that roster spot on the team!!
and he can report with the scholarship players for fall camp a few weeks before classes start.
He is not on scholarship, but can earn scholarships as they become available.

Corkey 89: I am in agreement with you as to that's all this is, a tryout. My guess, is that MSU wants to see his abilities against other D-1 kids after the injury. If he can compete up he will probably be offered. MSU just doesnt offer these to anyone so him even having a tryout speaks very much of his abilities. We will know here in about a month as camps should be starting soon. Good luck Trevon!
