Wells has the stats but his team doesn't have the record. Williamson has been a mere shadow of himself from years past. I think its Brabson's to lose. What about Vickers from Huntington?

Re: SVC Player of the Year
Shouldn't even be any mention of anyone other than Brabson and Williamson. Not that other players didn't have great years (which also should include Vickers), but the POY boils down to these two. Brabson has had a great year... However, Williamson had great numbers (even as a shadow of his former self... LOL) and led his team to a gold ball! If Williamson doesn't get it, call the cops because he was robbed!

Re: SVC Player of the Year
There is no Player of the year in SVC
there is Offensive back of year, Offensive lineman of year, Defensive Back of the Year, Defensive Lineman of the year.
Punter, Kicker and special teams players of the year.

Brabson's numbers: 145-225 64.4% comp. 2046 yards 18 passing tds 1 int 66 rushes 429 yards 5 rushing tds
Williamson's number: 88-206 42.7 comp. 1677 30 total tds 675 rads rushing no official int but i would estimate double digits.
Brabson's stats are better than Williamson's, easily.

Yes bman its true 43% completion percentage. 665 yards rushing. about two thirds as productive as he was last year. I can only assume he is injured.
Re: SVC Player of the Year
Strictly on stats, Brabson for Offensive BOY. I figure, though, that Williamson will get it because of going 7-0 and all the crap Westfall went thru, thanks to Keller.

And why would you estimate double digit INTs?Bandwagoner wrote:Brabson's numbers: 145-225 64.4% comp. 2046 yards 18 passing tds 1 int 66 rushes 429 yards 5 rushing tds

Re: SVC Player of the Year
Brabson and Williamson share back of the year. No problem with that. It's similar to last year where Hutchison and Williamson shared it.
I am surprised Cline did not get at least co-defensive back of the year. He has six picks and is one of the best defensive players in the conference.

Re: SVC Player of the Year
I will never understand how an inside linebacker can be defensive back of the year!
