Rger Gray WNXT and Computer Points for West

Did anyone else hear him say how the West win over Valley was going to produce so many computer points for West? He even mentioned they would be in the top 4 and host a playoff game. He must of said that 10 times! Does he know anything about how the computer points work? What an idiot! West didn't even move up 1 spot, still at 8th. You would think they could get someone in this county that could be a competent announcer. Come on man!

I have to give the guy credit. If it weren't for Roger Gray, we probably wouldn't have any local sports broadcast. We used to have WPAY, WIOI and WNXT. One after the other dropped covering sports, except for WNXT. Instead of bashing, try living a day in his shoes. He works all year begging for money for reporting/covering the games. Some parents NEVER do a single fund raiser, he has to do it all year long! So he isn't the greatest of all time, I can deal with that. Just educate yourself into what goes into putting these broadcasts on air, then I think you might feel a little different.

Look at what others ahead of them did. Eastmoor lost their 1st game so maybe West closed that gap a little. Liberty Union beat a 6 win D3 Logan Elm team. Everyone else ahead of West won. Hard to jump that many spots when others ahead of you keep winning.

Valley is a D6 school that lost 18 seniors. It was only a matter of time before someone beat them. I think they would of gotten beat by Ptown the first game if it weren't at Valley. JMO Taking nothing from either team because it was a great game that West played from what I hear. Roger Gray does a great job for the locals.He is entitled to make a mistake here and there.

go back and look at the West-Valley thread where I explained to those who were talking about all the points West will get. Like I said ,they will get a few but they r D-6 now and that hurts them as far as points so they need to root like he## for Valley to pull the upset over the Burg which I JMO don't see happening.The jackpot for points and a home game is right where you want it to be, in their own hands where they control their own destiny and beat the Burg u will be at the ROCK come week 11. As far as Roger, I know him, and like him from my days of playing and now on the golf course, but trying to listen to the games on the radio or internet is at times embarrassing. If a person just happened to be driving thru the area from another state or not from around here would be in shock at how bad it is. They never have the equipment set up correctly or whatever it's supposed to be because 99% of the time they can't talk to the sideline guys like Eric and Snuffy and he rarely gets the numbers right.
