Week 6, 2014: Oak Hill @ East
Both teams come into this contest at 3-2. The Oaks have played a tough schedule to prepare them for conference play. The Tartans started out 0-2 before winning 3 straight coming in to this match-up and get the liberty to play the defending champs and favorites to win it all. Thoughts?

Running clock would not surprise me at all. Either way, Oaks big. They will finish out 8-2 and if 'Peake and Wellston could get a couple more wins, the Oaks will likely be on the road in Week 11.

East will have to force turnovers and play strong defense the entire night in order to win this game

I agree! Although, east has got one of the best coaches in the tri-state area.....Mr. Gifford!Tartanblue wrote:East will have to force turnovers and play strong defense the entire night in order to win this game

I didn't see any defense in the SP game at all from East. They also let Rock HIll put 50 + on them so I expect the Oaks to roll in this one!

With having two starters out for East both on offense and defense I was impressed with how East played tonight. A couple big plays for Oak Hill hurt East. East stayed in the game especially with some people thinking the Oaks would blow East out.
