Re: Week 7: Buckeye Trail (2-4) @ Fort Frye (5-1)
he looked healthy to me. but trail fans may disagree and say that's why they lost. he threw one ball at least 50 yards but he really struggled with accuracy but that could of been the pressure in his face. He played on both sides of the ball and rarely came out of the game. Starr was a no factor in this game. He went up for a catch that Daughtery threw high and took a hit and looked scared to death after that. he probably dropped four or five passes that were right to him after that. Showed some speed on kick returns though. Just watch out for 86 or 88. I cant remember his number. last name is sells. He had a decent game catching and was really their only receiving threat. Stop the run game and Fort frye should win easy. im ready to see the fort frye Caldwell matchup.

Chandler Lang has 21 TDs in 6 games- 12 rushing 8 passing 1 Punt Return
Re: Week 7: Buckeye Trail (2-4) @ Fort Frye (5-1)
Buckeye Trail is simply getting out coached. It's that simple. There should be no excuse that they lose to Shenandoah.

Fort Frye will probably be seeing its starters play no more than 3 quarters in this one. Give the younger Cadets some PT in 4th or sooner. Trail just not ready to stop Lang & co. Cadets big in this one but it looks like playoffs iffy at best unless some of their opponents start winning. FF by 30+

They are in 7th at the moment barring a couple upset wins by Fredricktown and Col Acad 9 wins will get Cadets a trip to Valley or Bishop Ready.

What Trail team shows up? The team that smacked Frontier or the team that barely beat Barnesville and lost to Shenandoah. The Cadets come in scoring 35.6 ppg best in the PVC. Trail has actually been decent on the defense most points allowed was 34-0. Since Daughtery is healthy I think this game will be closer then most think. Pontius(sp) has been a nice back for Trail with 3 huge games. Fort Frye has not been great stopping the the run. I do think FF will find ways to score. They need to find ways to get Jake Prittchard the ball he has 9 TDs of his own 7 Rec. He is big and one of the better WRs in the PVC. More of a deep threat then a crossing route or short stuff. Last week FF moved Derek Layton from Middle LB to DT. Bringing in young ultra talented Brady Carpenter at LB this is something to watch. I also want to see Yates making more plays. I say close for a while but Cadets prevail 34-21.

Trail just seems to be spiraling downhill. Not quite the season I think the warrior faithful were hoping for. I think Fort Frye takes this one by about 20.

Fort Frye can not over look Trail with big game on Homecoming next week
Re: Buckeye Trail (2-4) @ Fort Frye (5-1)
Fort Frye can overlook Buckeye Trail in all honestly. There's no need to worry about looking ahead. I'm calling it a 5-TD victory. You read it here first.

Really? Only an 8 point win? Maybe I'm really over-estimating the strength of Fort Frye? Only beating River by 6 in the opener was one thing, but this one was much closer than I called it. After comparing scores I'm going on record now saying the Cadets will be underdogs vs Caldwell. The FF defense must not be what I thought. Would like to see them crack playoffs, but a loss might wipe that out.

They moved up to 6th in playoff picture. I wasn't at the game my best friends getting married. Cadets run defense is just weak. I know that Trail scored a TD late that Fort was winning 21-35 late. Chandler Lang 4 more TDs now has 25.
