I must be extra sentimental tonight but I must make sure that SEOP understands just how special the senior class of Chillicothe is. When they arrived on the scene for their freshman year, the program stood at 3-97 from 2005-2009. Dr. Ross (OHSAA) just spoke of Chillicothe's softball program at a recent board meeting where he cited the 3-97 record as the loosingest program in the state of Ohio for ANY sport during that time. He also cited that Chillicothe has put itself back into a position of being respected by area teams. It's been a long process with many miles left to travel but this senior class and current team just set the record for most wins in a season tonight with 19. Many teams have surpassed that mark but that's them. This senior class has built a new diamond, a new attitude, and a new approach to playing softball in Chillicothe. As a coach, my heart's full of pride tonight. This team truly believes that they can, and will, win each and every game that they play. With the D1 tourney just around the corner I sure love where we are at and as we like to say around Chilli-vegas #playangry
