Local state record holders, I thought this would be cool to see in each sport.
Assists in a match: 72 - Mackenna Steinbrook - Unioto - 2014
All-time Most Wins: 897 - Adena
Most Team Kills in a match: 80 - Unioto - 2014
Longest Win Streak: 142 - Adena

Re: Local State Record Holders
The Assist/Kills State records was both recorded in the same match.
Unioto vs Westfall and to say it was epic is an understatement.
Both teams State ranked, 1st place in the storied SVC on the line.
The U's Seniors of 2015 had never beat the Mustangs at Westfall, even counting jr. high.
It was a 5 set banger that had the Shermans coming out on top 16 to 14.
Two days later in Frenchtown the Shermans bested the Adena Warriors in another classic match-up in which Steinbrook was in the upper 60's for assist that night.
The Mustangs went on to finish 3rd in the SVC and made the Regional finals where they lost to league rivals Adena.
Adena finished 2nd in the league and made a trip to the State final four.
Unioto ended a 25 year out-right SVC title drought and made it to the District finals where the injury bug finally caught up with Shermans (Neff, Overly X2 and Ward had played 4 seasons of relatively injury free varsity volleyball) and Athens was able to get the best of them in 5 sets.
The Shermans was the favorite being ranked as high as 3rd in the state.
In a strange twist of irony the tables was switched on the two schools in basketball at the District Finals. Unioto came in the underdog to the highly State ranked Bulldogs of Athens but that's when the injury bug decided to bite Athens and the short handed Bulldogs fell to the Mighty Shermans.
