short shorts

Has a parent I must say that I am shocked at how tight the shorts are that are worn by players. Are kids allowed to dress this way at school ?

This was a sore subject at a school board meeting at WHS a couple years ago. To answer, NO, they will not meet most schools dress code for shorts. In fact my daughter could not even wear her Cross Country uniform shorts to school because they did not meet the "fingertips when arms were to her side" rule. But then again, neither would our cheerleader's skirts. LOL

There are schools in/around Columbus that make their players wear trimmed yet loose shorts, not spandex, for volleyball.
