Through day 1, several schools are doing quite well from Southeast Ohio. In boys division 2, Faifield Union is sitting in 6th place after day 1, just 1 shot behind the 5th place team (Dayton Oakwood). Unioto is sitting at 11th with a score of 343, 21 shots ahead of 12th place and 4 shots behind 10th place (Youngstown Ursuline).

Also in boys D2, individual Conner Heffner of Waverly is sitting T4th after the first round, shooting a 72 (par). Rock Hill's Logan Reed is T10th after the first round at 75 (+3).

Chardon Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin leads the team competition through day 1 with a score of 297.

In boys D3, the Southeast district champion, North Adams, is sitting in 12th, but is sitting just 1 shot behind 11th place, and 2 shots behind 10th place.

Worthington Christian is leading the team competition is boys D3 after the first round with a team score of 306.

In girls D2 action, Waterford is sitting in 7th place, sitting just 1 shot behind two different teams T6th (Newark Catholic & Garaway). Mackenzie Dietz of Waterford is the top performer individually from the Southeast District at T16th shooting an 80 through the first round.

The Southeast District's individual qualifier, Hannah Shrout from Fairland is sitting at T26th after she shot an 86 in the first round.

In Boy's D3, North Adams finished in 12th place, shooting a 373 in both rounds for a total of 746 (+170). Worthington Christian won the team championship shooting a total of 623.

The top individual placer from the Southeast was Elijah McCarty who finished 31st with a score of 167 (84, 83). The individual state champion was Jared Wilson of Columbiana who shot a 141 (69, 72).

In Girl's D2, Waterford finished in 8th place, shooting a 348 and 361 for a total of 709 over the two day championship. Independence is the team state champion after shooting a 652.

The top individual finisher from the Southeast was McKenzie Dietz of Waterford who finished T18th with a score of 164 (80, 84). Hanna Shrout of Fairland finished 23rd with a 168 (86, 82). Sarah Willis of Eaton was the individual state champion after shooting a 139 (72, 67).

Columbus Academy won the Division 2 State Championship and Worthington Christian won the Division 3 State Championship. Both of those schools are Mid State League Ohio Division members. Tough division to be in and Congratulations to the Mid State League for 2 State Champions.

Crazy good for the MSL as a whole, Faifield Union also finished 9th in D2.

Unioto finished 11th in D2 boys.

Columbus Academy won the Division 2 State Championship and Worthington Christian won the Division 3 State Championship. Both of those schools are Mid State League Ohio Division members. Tough division to be in and Congratulations to the Mid State League for 2 State Champions.

Second year this happened, very impressive. Bexley and Fisher in '15 also won. Sixth different state title since 2011 across the Mid-State League, won across five different schools (Wellington won D3 in 2011.)
