Re: 2018 Piketon Redstreaks Football Outlook
Piketon coming off of a 4-6 (4-3 league) season. Their non league is Waverly H, Wellston A, Valley H. League, Paint Valley A, Southeastern A, Adena A, Westfall H, Huntington H, Zane Trace A, Unioto H, if the league isnt due to rotate, I cant find the official schedule, going off of last years.
Returners for the Streaks, Galloway QB, going to be a Jr., was 2nd in the league in yards 2063, and completion % with 61%. Returning receivers will be Grooms to be Sr., who had 780 yards on 60 catches, Preston Thacker Jr.
Running back could be a committee situation, I. Little So. and A. Henderson with possibly a couple of others competing.
The O line will be anchored by K. Penwell, S. Vulgamore, with Z. Klinger at center with possibly A. Vanhoy So. who saw time last season.
The defense will be anchored by K. Thacker DE Jr., and S. Spires at MLB. and K Pack at S., who also could see time catching the ball on offense. Several returners on defense, I believe 8 who saw significant time, along with about the same on offense, should set up Piketon for another solid season, if like all teams, everything comes together and you avoid injuries.

Piketon should have 5 or 6 wins, possibly beating Waverly and reclaiming title to the county courthouse.
Gut feelings are your guardian angels
Re: 2018 Piketon Redstreaks Football Outlook
Will be interesting to see how Piketon will play against Waverly. Waverly lost a lot of significant players on both sides of the ball, even special teams
A Kicker of various balls. Trust The Process
Re: 2018 Piketon Redstreaks Football Outlook
Think Waverly's overall team speed will be to much for Piketon. Piketon playing Waverly week 1 is perfect, as Waverly will be breaking in a new quarterback and mostly rebuilt o-line. Piketon should be good for 4 wins any year just based on league play alone, think those 1st 3 games will be tough, as I think Valley is working it's way back.Kicker. wrote: Fri May 25, 2018 11:06 pm Will be interesting to see how Piketon will play against Waverly. Week 2 Piketon visits CH Jones field in Wellston for the first ever regular season matchup between the 2 schools. Got to go with the Golden Rockets in this one.
Re: 2018 Piketon Redstreaks Football Outlook
What is the truth to several players not returning to the Streaks this year, either due to moving or other reasons?
Re: 2018 Piketon Redstreaks Football Outlook
We’ve had 1 kid from last year not play this season and 1 kid move out of the state.Bobby k wrote: Sun Aug 05, 2018 10:03 am What is the truth to several players not returning to the Streaks this year, either due to moving or other reasons?
