Intentional grounding when outside the pockets. College and pro you can throw it away outside the pocket, time for high school to adopt same rule

I believe it is but not all refs call it. In Portsmouth vs Ironton, both teams recieved a penalty for pushing the qb. In every other game for Portsmouth it wasn't called.

Its not against the rules anymore. That was a rule change a year or so ago, I believe.

If kickoff goes into endzone it comes out to the 20 now

Got ya, that's what I thought you meant but wanted to make sure. I would be good with that type of rule, although at the high school level I don't think you'd see a lot of kids doing that.

Probably not, but I do believe it could make the game safer. In this day and age...it would be a popular rule change.

Agreed, it gets old hearing fans yelling he was outside the pocket when intentional grounding is called. I don't know how many times I've turned to ppl and said that rule doesn't apply in high school
