Defensive backs Donald Washington and Jamario O'Neil confirmed at
the OSU photo day thursday that they both will serve two game suspensions for violating
team rules. They will both sit out the YSU and OU games.
Sophmore Chimni Checkwa (sp?) will get the bulk of the playing time as Washington's replacement.

Re: OSU suspensions
i guess if it had to happen, those two games are the best scenario. plus it gives the youngster some more experience.
any idea on what they did or is that all the info they're giving out?

Re: OSU suspensions
It's something that they had already did, not a new offense.
Don't know what it was though.

Re: OSU suspensions
That may be less of a problem and more of a psuedo-blessing
It gets valuable playing time for Chekwa and the other backup DB.
Washington and O'Niel are seasoned vets, and they are going to be practicing all
summer long. They will not need that much to get back in the flow.
This suspension make the Buckeyes deeper.
