Miller & Wahama leaving has changed the situation drastically.

Football only? It helped Northwest. Not sure if the Hocking teams would want it though. At first yeah, but when the rebuild happens they wont be happy.

Re: TVC
Moving RV to the Hocking doesn’t fix what’s wrong within the tvc. The elephant in the room is Athens. Take them out of the Ohio division and the whole thing becomes very competitive again. But what do they do. They won’t leave on their own accord.

Re: TVC
Athens is fine where they are. They are not the problem. The only problem this league has is outside people thinking it needs to expand to suit their team. TVC is fine, it doesn’t need to fix everybody’s else’s problem. Move RV to the Hocking in football only and it would make the Ohio even again and help the Hocking with scheduling.

Most people have no clue that NY has won just as many football titles as Athens the last 12 years.NY BUCK wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 6:48 pm Athens is fine where they are. They are not the problem. Re: TVC
Here is what I am working on:
1. Getting Marietta, Warren and Fort Frye into the league. That gets us to 17 teams
2. Identifying one more school and adding them as well
3. Going to three divisions. Not sure what that would look like yet but will share what I think might work
Division 1 - Ohio
Athens
Warren
Marietta
Vinton county
Logan?????
Division 2 - muskingum
Meigs
Trimble
Nelsonville
Wellston
Fort Frye
River Valley
Alexander
Division 3- Hocking
Southern
Eastern
South Gallia
Federal Hocking
Waterford
Belpre

Re: TVC
The TVC should have all 72 SEO teams. 9 leagues of 8 with weeks 1,2, and 10 being cross over games. A committee gets to pick the week 10 match ups

Re: TVC
This kind of leadership is what’s wrong in that league. Personally I think some schools should strike out in their own and revive a few leagues.Leave No Doubt wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 7:02 pm Here is what I am working on:

Re: TVC
You are correct there. Most are just tired of getting beat by the better team and use the size excuse as soon as the clock hits zero.Raider6309 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 7:01 pmMost people have no clue that NY has won just as many football titles as Athens the last 12 years.NY BUCK wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 6:48 pm Athens is fine where they are. Re: TVC
In all seriousness, Athens has been in the league for 12 years. It’s time to give it a rest. TVC is great, and every team in it has a great home. They put 11 on the field just like everybody else. I believe there has been years where they have not had the biggest team in the league. The league is more competitive now then it has been in the past, Athens has a good QB and is in good hands with their coach. Alexander has the right guy at the helm and was in many close games this year. NY has good classes coming up and return a ton. Wellston had a great year making the playoffs and return a lot. VC seems to have found a good HC. Meigs and RV I’m not sure but the league is in a good place right now. Leave our conference alone and go somewhere else. The orphanage is closed

That would be pretty cool! I’d love the week 10 committee games!Raider6309 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 7:15 pm The TVC should have all 72 SEO teams. 9 leagues of 8 with weeks 1,2, and 10 being cross over games. A committee gets to pick the week 10 match ups

Re: TVC
We had to table expansion at the most recent meeting cause it was clear we didn't have the votes to pass it. We'll keep it from getting voted on until we have enough votes to get it past. We must have 3 divisions, we simply must.
