River Valley looks to end the 2020 season on a 4 game winning streak as they travel to South Point.
For a team full of Sophomores and Juniors, these last 3 wins have been a huge confidence boost for the kids and it would be a great step toward 2021 with ending the season on a 4 game winning streak!
Nice to see these two former OVC opponents face off.
This will be the 17th all time meeting. South Point leads the series 10-6, but River Valley has won 4 of the last 5 meetings.

River Valley ends the season strong with 4 straight wins. Hopefully RV can use this momentum and build for a successful season next year.

South point 10 river valley 9. South point kicked a 33 yard field goal with 30 seconds left. I watched 2nd half stream. Pretty fun game to watch.

I went to this game. South point couldn't get a break with the officials. Two scores called back I believe. SP defence was backed up all night. Good to see the pointers hopefully turn things around. I think the JV players had a good season. So maybe the future is bright for these young men

Good win for South Point.
Unfortunately for RV, they thought they had this game won before it even started. Winning 3 in a row, playing a winless team, and blowing out the team that just beat South Point the week before, all led to the kids thinking this one was over before it even started.
Still, a very young sophomore and junior team in RV needs to take the positives. You won 3 in a row, 3 of your last 4, and you are only losing 3 Seniors off this team. Hopefully good things to come for RV in 2021.
