Columbus Academy 30 Piketon 22 2021 Playoffs
Streaks welcoming the Vikings to the village. I think this is a very winnable game for Piketon. Thoughts on this matchup

Re: Week 12: Columbus Academy (7-4) @ Piketon (10-0)
This is going to be a tough one for Piketon but winnable, CA likes to spread it out and looks like they've got a decent size line. Going with Piketon by a score because they're at home but won't be surprised to see the upset in this one.

Piketon 21 C.A. 17 I'm pulling for you Piketon! I think this is a winnable game, but I also think C.A. will be tougher than Coshocton. Clean up the penalties! Good luck streaks!

Will be a very tough game for Piketon. CA seems to be a solid team. I believe piketon can win if they score on the majority of their possessions, cannot have 3 quarters like they did last week. The reason they need to capitalize often is because idk how well the D will be able to stop CA consistently. They have a very good running back who has great vision and will run you over if you don’t wrap up well. Believe he has a D1 offer. They seem to also be able to throw the ball decently. We will see what the piketon d is made of come Saturday.

Any schools name in a metro area that's last name is "Academy" or first name is "Bishop" is usually pretty good.

Facts. CA’s tuition cost more than most people in pike county make in a year.Abe Froman wrote: ↑Tue Nov 02, 2021 2:18 pm Any schools name in a metro area that's last name is "Academy" or first name is "Bishop" is usually pretty good.

In 2017 when Burg played them, Schiano’s sons played for them and it seems as though there was another OSU coaches son on the team but I can’t remember for certain. Not sure who they have now but sounds again like they have enough really good athletes with size that can potentially take over the game.MrFirstTake wrote: ↑Tue Nov 02, 2021 12:40 pm Yeah the RB has good genes lol related to Greg and Steve bellisari

Piketon welcomes the Vikings of Academy to the glowing village! Always a tall task when facing a metro Cbus team, but the Streaks are primed and ready to go. Weather should be a bit on the chilly side, but that’s football weather. Lets Go Streaks!
Re: Week 12: Columbus Academy (7-4) @ Piketon (10-0)
For what it’s worth, CalPreps picks the Red Streaks by 5, 31-26. It picked them by 17 last week. Go Streaks!

People are misjudging the streaks. They are a pretty good team.

CA is fast and athletic enough to shut Gullion down even though he is a hell of a player. That will be the difference on this one.

Paint Valley played Academy in back to back years in the playoffs, in the early 2000’s. Academy had a back that went to Stanford on one of those teams.
No clue about this year’s team, but will be pulling hard for Piketon! Go Streaks!
