West Muskingum skill players are really good. Lineman play hard but normally overmatched. The 8 teams they beat were a combined 18-62. Only beat one team with a winning record. Very well coached team that will play very hard.

This offense would be wild if they were 2-3 years into it.

I believe that the offense is much more dangerous now with the option and potential return of the starting QB. The potential mix and match will hopefully be enough of a problem for most teams. If nothing else a headache to prepare for. I have the Dragons by 10.

I think that this West Muskingum team is pretty skilled. They have a few guys that have very good speed. They have a running back Shoger who has ran over 1000 yards they have another guy who they use in the passing game with over 750 all purpose yards who is good in space catching the screen and running the jet sweep. The QB can throw the ball effectively. I do think that they are little on the Oline and the fact that they lack the size is made up for with their speed.

Watching their defense see that they like to play with 3 down lineman with 4 linebackers who can play in or out of the box. Often times watching them on film they aren’t uncomfortable leaving only 4 or 5 in the box they play press coverage out on the edges and leave their safety’s to cover deep. With that being said I don’t feel they are overly big but they have good team speed.

West Muskingum is a young team and I am curious to see how they respond to the long bus trip down to Fairland for the game. What I have seen is that they are a good football team and will present a good test for the Dragons in round 1

Leep needs to be in the backfield whether he’s a quarterback or running back. Should’ve been all year. He proved it the last couple weeks. This team would have another win or two if so. There is no threat in the backfield if he’s not there and teams just concentrate on the pass. Good luck dragons.

They never go under center never so play action is out the window plus kitts don't get the ball much and he is fast

West M wins 22 to 21 in OT

Congrats West Muskingum and Coach Brownrigg.

Coach Brownrigg was the offensive coordinator for Tri-Valley when they played in the D3 state tourney in 2017. The West M defensive coordinator is Coach Reilly who was the D coordinator for Tri-Valley in 2017. Great coaches. Took a doormat program to a playoff win in 3 years.

Unfortunately, up next is Harvest Prep college.
