For the love of God, why would OHSAA play this game in Zanesville. Over 100 miles for River and the same distance for Eastern that it would be to River. Marietta is right in the middle

More than likely the game is not being played in Marietta, because Marietta High School did not put in to host a game. Field availability is at the discretion of Marietta College, and they have a home game on Saturday at 1:30. That would provide a very small window to get the facilities cleaned and prepped for the game on Saturday afternoon.

Warren with new facilities is only 10 miles from Marietta, would be much better than going to Zanesville.
