Unless their has been a tremendous increase in students, I don't see how football could ever be again at St.Joe. The Flyers do well to field soccer, basketball and baseball teams. Those teams always are competitive.

Would be awesome. They would get a bunch of Ironton kids that ride the bench at Ironton. I bet they could get 20 kids year one transfer.

If St Joe doesn't get the administration on the ball and increase the student census there will no longer be a St. JOE. If the Steubenville Diocese is thrown into the Columbus Diocese that bishop will close the school due to the low numbers. 48 students is not going to cut it. The Bishop of Columbus requires a school to have 200 students. What does that tell you about a football team. Not going to happen.

or could it be that they use football to boost enrollment? 80 football players, 20 cheerleaders, and 50 members for a marching band gets them where they need to be.

If St Joe gets 11 bodies able to walk a straight line- Oak Hill may play them 10 weeks in a row

And then VC will want to add them to the TVC to ensure Warren and Fort Frye don’t get in.
