South Webster is missing. I would add the 4 Pike County schools as well for 30 olympic, 25 football (maybe add Manchester for FB for 26)

Geographically I get it, but I cannot imagine the SOC every dissolving.

Manchester wouldn't be competitive in football as much as I hate to say it.

Im all for conference traditions, but i wil say with college football and HS football i would vote for football only conferences and then all other sports keep their current or preferred conference.

Move Fairland to the XXXX league. They are the most competitive in all sports in the current OVC (and probably has the most overall OVC Championships since 2014 in all sports).

Move Rock Hill and Coal Grove to the XXX league and drop Northwest to XX.

Move Symmes Valley to the XX league.

Put South Webster in that XX league as well, maybe even the XXX

From a competitive standpoint, Fairland clears Portsmouth by a decent bit. But Portsmouth playing West and Burg every year is just too easy in terms of travel.

In what world does Fairland clear Portsmouth? The one where Portsmouth girls basketball ended Fairlands win streak? Maybe it was when Portsmouth eliminated Fairland from the state football playoffs? Was it the year before in football when Fairland got slaughtered at Portsmouth? Maybe it was when the boys basketball team beat them by 19 this year? Head to head there’s no clearing. Maybe you’re talking about against other teams? If so you should do some research, Portsmouth sports have had quite the resurgence in baseball, football, girls & boys basketball, and softball has been good as well. Look it up and you’ll see both teams have finished in the top 4 in most of those, flipping back and forth between who’s ahead. Clearing lol stop it, you need worry about what’s going on up your way, it’s not good.

Never happen because it makes too much sense.

As a Minford fan I’d love it. Add one or two games from the divisions above and below and you’ve got a pretty good schedule with good gates and reasonable travel.

Well Jackson would be gone so I'm sure they'd be ok with it at that point. All though it's just a meaningless topic though

Scioto County wants no part of Jackson Ironton or travel to Gallia.
Jackson, Ironton, Fairland, Gallia, Waverly makes more sense. I’m good with Portsmouth being the 6th member, but I’m not sure the administration wants to give up the OVC.

I think Waverly plays a lot of FAC schools in most sports. Would be an easy move.

Took a stab at a league merger with a couple different options. Tried to keep conference games to a minimum to allow crossovers regionally/rivals and provide flexibility as teams have different desires. Also, I don't think anyone would want Jackson in a league, Wellston ain't leaving the TVC, and I doubt the current Pike county SOC schools want left out. I think River Valley could be interested so included them and needed 1 more larger school (since many TVC fans appear to not want them in the TVC due to distance and underperforming). I didn't include Piketon, but I think it would be nice if Piketon joined too, but they're currently content in the SVC. I also left out Manchester football, but they could easily slide into SOVC I FB if desired.
