Columbus Clippers 7 Louisville Bats 5

Post by LICKING COUNTY FAN »

Columbus (6-7) scored four in the eighth to defeat the Bats (6-8) last night. Leading the winning team on offense with home runs were, Daniel Schneemann (BYU) and Jhonkensy Noel. Scheemann would go 1-3, with 2 RBI. The bomb was his 2nd of the season. Noel went hit 2nd bomb overall he went 1-3 with 2 RBI. Kyle Manzardo (Washington State) 3-5, 1RBI. He raises his average to .278. Johnathan Rodriguez drove in a run and had a hit. For the Bats, they had eight hits overall. Michael Trautwein (Northwestern) a catcher, who also plays outfield had a sweet catch at the plate he had a hit and drove in a run. Levi Jordan (Washington) had a hit and a run. Those two players for the Bats are two I think the Reds fans are going to see very shortly.

WP 1-0 Nic Enright (Virginia Tech)
LP 0-1 Ian Gibaut (Tulane)
