Columbus (7-8) came in 7-16 in their last 23 games against Buffalo (8-7). Orelvis Martinez gave Buffalo a 1-0 lead with a base hit in the top of the fourth. Will Robertson (Creighton) increased the Bufflao lead to 2-0. In the bottom of the fourth José Tena cut the lead to 2-1 with a single to center field. Micah Pries (Point Loma Nazarene, CA) blasted his first homer of the season locking this one up at two after four. Pries would have two hits on the night. Johnathan Rodriguez put Columbus up 3-2, then José Tena doubled to score two making this a 5-2 game after five. In the bottom of the sixth Juan Brito doubled knocking in two to make this a 7-2 game, after six. Rafael Lantigua and Leo Jimenez both had RBI hits in the eighth to give us out 7-4 final.
