I think Tri-Valley will be focused on Carrolton and score quickly and often.
This team is top 3 ever at Tri-Valley in my opinion. When clicking, they can score on every possession. Defense is good, but not great. Really good linemen and receivers and deep with talent at those positions. QB and RB among the best in D3 in Ohio.
After this week, the path to making it out of the region is a b-itch.
Granville, Steubenville, Watterson.
And the region winner likely is looking at London, Youngstown Ursuline and Toledo Catholic Central.

I can't see Tri Valley not advancing to the second round of the playoffs in this game against Carrolton.

Some food for thought: that prospective third round team feels this region is a 2 team race.teach1coach2 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2024 11:20 pm I think Tri-Valley will be focused on Carrolton and score quickly and often.

Re: Week 11: D3 R11 Carrolton (7-3) at Tri-Valley (10-0)
So here is one of the crazier things I have heard this football season. In a 53-14 Granville route over Mt. Vernon, the Granville stud QB got ejected from the game. 1 game suspension and can't play against Dover. (Must not have been for fighting because that carries a 2 game suspension.)

I really think Tri-Valley has out grown mvl big school league

Them and Sheridan would be a better fit in the Licking county league, with likes of Granville, Licking Valley, Licking HTS, and W.Memorial

Carrollton played Tri-Valley tough for a quarter and a half. The Tri-Valley exploded with a 1 play, 1 play, 2 play drives for 3 TDs in about a 5 minute span. 28-6 at half. TV scored quick in 3rd quarter and went for 2 to get running clock 36-6. One more TV TD on a long run late 3rd quarter. Carrollton scored against the TV JVs in the 4th quarter. No TV turnovers or punts for 1st team. JV punt in 4th.
