Valenths Thoughts from Week 13

Post by Valenth »

What a Week of Football! The committee on this Bracket setup this week will be interesting! Lets dig into details!

1. Ohio State sobers Indianas High flying dream.

The Buckeyes started off slow in the First quarter. But really dialed in on the 2nd half. It Started when the Buckeyes held Indiana to ZERO YARDS in the 2nd quarter.

Indianas loss will not hurt them much. Because there were other Major Losses that really padded the Hoosiers Spot in the Playoffs. Gonna be Mixed up a good bit!

2. The SEC took it on the Chin AGAIN!

Alabama got smacked by Oklahoma
Ole Miss for Gator chomped in the Swamp
And Texas A&M falls to Auburn in a Four Overtime Classic.

These results will really play into the Playoff Brackets.

3. The ACC still a horse Race with Miami and SMU (No Pun intended)

They both took care of their opponents. And now opens up opportunities for a Possible 3rd team to be getting close.

4. ONE UNDEFEATED TEAM REMAINS! Oregon.

Army got slaughtered at the hands of Notre Dame
And of course Indiana fell to Ohio State

Oregon was on a BYE Week.

5. The BIG XII is all a Mess.

Colorado and BYU both taking Losses. Going to be interesting to see who will be in this Conference Championship.

6. Penn State.... squeaker. Barely getting by Minnesota. That won't look good to the Committee.

7. My Top 12! Let's see how close I can get this week!

1. Oregon
2. Ohio State
3. Texas
4. Notre Dame +2
5. Penn State -1
6. Georgia +2
7. Tennessee +3
8. Indiana -3
9. Miami +2
10. SMU +3
11. Boise State +1
12. Clemson +5

Alabama and Ole Miss Fall OUT of the Top 12.

NOTE... Ranked Teams that took a Loss this week. (AP POLL RANKS)

5. Indiana
7. Alabama
9. Ole Miss
14. BYU
15. Texas A&M
16. Colorado
18. Army

It is amazing what the retirement of Nick Saban, conference realignment, NIL, and the transfer portal have wrought: parity.

They say nothing is impossible, yet I accomplish nothing every day.
